Alvisa Palese

Alvisa Palese, PhDc, MNS, BNS, RN, is the Dean of the Bachelor of Nursing Science, Udine and Pordenone campus, of Udine University, Italy.

Alvisa is Full Professor of Nursing Science and her main teaching areas are Fundamentals of Nursing care, Evidence Based Nursing, Modes of care delivery and Nursing care in chronic conditions. She is visiting professor of Medical University of Lublin. Her research interest includes nursing care issues in individuals with cognitive decline living in Nursing Homes or at home (functional decline, self-feeding performance and antecedents; restraint use); nursing sensitive outcome measurements; their relationship with nursing workforce and missed nursing care; moreover, nursing education quality improvement and measurement are also areas of current research.
